Measure the required amount of water as specified on the product packaging.

Pour the measured water into a clean mixing bowl.

Add the alginate powder and mix thoroughly using a spatula or mechanical mixer until a smooth, homogenous consistency is achieved.

Load the mixture into an impression tray, ensuring even distribution.

Position the tray in the patient’s mouth and instruct the patient to bite down gently but firmly.

Allow the material to set for the recommended time indicated on the package.

Carefully remove the tray from the mouth once the setting time has elapsed.

Rinse and dry the impression, then proceed to pour the dental stone or plaster to create the model.
