Prima Classic Inverted Cone Carbide burs are used primarily for producing undercuts at the junction of the pulpal floor and lateral walls in occlusal-class I, cervical-class IV cavities and the occlusal locks of the class II cavities. The burs are brazed in the neck as opposed to the base of the head and the carbide neck provide optimum concentricity and strength. The shank is made of stainless steel which allows it to be autoclaved numerous times without risk of corrosion.
