Preparation

Ensure the phosphor storage plate (PSP) is clean and dry before inserting.

Insertion

Gently slide the PSP into the barrier envelope with the image-capturing side properly oriented.

Make sure the plate fits completely inside the envelope without forcing it.

Sealing

Peel off the protective strip from the adhesive end.

Firmly press to seal the envelope, ensuring no openings are left to maintain a hygienic barrier and block ambient light.

Imaging Procedure

Position the sealed envelope with the PSP into the patient's mouth as required for intraoral radiography.

Proceed with the radiographic exposure.

Post-Imaging Handling

After exposure, carefully remove the envelope from the patient’s mouth.

Open the sealed end by tearing it at the designated tear-off section.

PSP Removal

Gently slide out the PSP without touching the imaging surface.

Avoid contact with any potentially contaminated areas.

Disposal

Dispose of the used barrier envelope in accordance with your clinic’s infection control and biomedical waste disposal guidelines.
