The handle is connected to the working end with one Hinge.
The hinge allows forceps to open and close.
Beaks or Working End are designed to engage around the cervical portion of the tooth.
ETN Extraction Forceps Upper Premolars - Standard (Fig.#2) is an extraction forcep used in the extraction of both right and left maxillary premolar teeth. It is universal forcep and has slight curved angulation and has gaps in between the beaks. The beak is wider and has spacing between the teeth to accomodate the wider premolar. Beaks are designed to conform to facial and lingual root contour just apical to the cervical line.
