• Insertion: Insert the selected ContacEZ strip between the teeth to be treated, ensuring proper alignment with the interproximal space.

• Gentle Motion: Apply gentle, controlled pressure with a back-and-forth sawing motion to initiate enamel reduction. Maintain steady pressure to achieve the desired amount of IPR, while being mindful to avoid excessive enamel removal.

• Check Progress: Periodically check the progress of IPR using dental floss to gauge the desired space between teeth. Adjust pressure and direction as needed to achieve uniform reduction.

• Repeat if Necessary: If additional IPR is required, repeat the process with finer grit strips or move to wider strips as needed, following the same gentle motion and pressure application.

• Finalization: Once the desired amount of interproximal space has been achieved, remove the ContacEZ strip(s) and thoroughly clean the treatment area to remove any debris.

• Post-Procedure Care: Provide appropriate post-procedural instructions to the patient, including oral hygiene guidelines and any necessary follow-up appointments.

• Storage: Clean and sterilize the ContacEZ strips after each use, following manufacturer's instructions for proper maintenance and storage.
