Installation:
Connect the handpiece to the compatible coupling or tubing of the dental unit.
Ensure the connection is secure and there are no air or water leaks.
Bur Insertion:
Press the push-button on the head to open the chuck.
Insert a friction-grip bur firmly into the chuck until it is fully seated.
Release the button and check that the bur is securely locked in place by gently pulling on it.
Operation:
Activate the handpiece using the foot pedal of the dental unit.
Ensure water spray is functioning properly to cool the working area.
Recommended operating pressure: 32–40 psi (2.2–2.8 bar).
Use for cutting, sectioning, or refining tooth or restorative material as required.
Maintenance & Lubrication:
After each use, remove the bur and clean the handpiece exterior with a soft brush and mild detergent or disinfectant wipe.
Lubricate the handpiece by inserting lubricant into the smaller of the two large holes on the back end until it flows out.
Connect to the dental unit and run for 10 seconds to distribute the lubricant and expel debris.
Autoclave according to manufacturer’s instructions—typically at 135°C for 3–5 minutes.
Cartridge Replacement:
Use only the compatible A1TU cartridge.
Remove the old cartridge using an appropriate tool or press.
Insert the new cartridge firmly, aligning it correctly.
Test for smooth rotation and proper bur retention before use.
