Preparation:

Ensure the patient's oral cavity is clean and dry.
Select the appropriate archwire size for the patient's treatment plan.

Handling:

Store the archwires in a cool, dry place before use.
Avoid excessive bending or twisting of the archwires to maintain their structural integrity.

Activation:

The archwires are super elastic at room temperature and become dead soft at approximately 20°C. This makes them easy to manipulate and position in the brackets.
Once the archwire is positioned, it will activate at body temperature (around 37°C) to exert gentle, continuous forces on the teeth.

Ligation:

Position the archwire into the bracket slots on the patient's teeth.
Use ligatures or self-ligating brackets to secure the archwire in place.
Ensure that the archwire is properly seated and engaged in all brackets for optimal performance.

Adjustment:

Monitor the patient's progress and make necessary adjustments during follow-up appointments.
If any part of the archwire becomes disengaged, reposition it carefully without over-manipulating.

Patient Instructions:

Advise the patient to maintain good oral hygiene to prevent any complications.
Instruct the patient to avoid eating hard or sticky foods that may dislodge the archwire.

Follow-Up:

Schedule regular check-ups to assess the progress of the treatment.
Adjust or replace the archwire as needed to continue guiding the teeth into the desired position.
